A message from the Friends of Troop 74:

First, we hope that you and those you care about are well and finding ways to cope with all that is going on in our world right now. Second, thank you for coming to visit! If you're here, it means you have interest in supporting our Troop with either a donation of goods or shopping on the day of our Yard Sale (or both!) and we truly appreciate it.

Below you will find our intended schedule for drop-offs and the yard sale itself. Please make sure to check back just before any of these dates, should we need to postpone or cancel that day's event.

There is also a brief description of our drop-off process to make it as contactless as possible as well as an updated list of items we cannot accept. While there is a great deal of information, we ask that you please take the time to review it all as it will make the exchange easier and safer for all involved.

Kindest regards,
The Friends of Troop 74

Since its humble beginnings in 1986 this yard sale has grown to Giant Status. The Friends of Boy Scout Troop 74 open the gates to a yard sale that is the culmination of an entire year's worth of collecting, sorting and tagging. Set up takes 2 days and a "Giant" corps of volunteers. By the time the dust settles at the end of the day, a thousand or more customers have been served. The end result is that we can fund our local Boy Scout troop operations for the whole year. It takes a huge amount of work from many very dedicated people, but it helps make it possible for our troop to do things that may not otherwise be possible.

Yard sale items are prescreened and presorted and the entire grounds are organized into departments to make shopping easier. Electric power is available to test items. Canopies provide shade and shelter from the rain or shine. We even have parking attendants to direct the traffic flow !

You will find plenty of helpful and fun-loving volunteers to assist you any way they can!

And don't forget the FOOD! Great food at even greater prices help to keep you going so that you don't drop while you shop!

Departments include: Electronics, Furniture, Antiques, Housewares, Sporting Goods, Lawn & Garden, Books-CD's, Toys and food.
